Conditions of Entry

When attending a Port Adelaide Football Club game at Adelaide Oval, patrons must comply with Adelaide Oval's conditions of entry. 

For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all patrons, staff and event participants, the conditions of entry apply to all Adelaide Oval attendees.

Patrons who do not comply with the Conditions of Entry will not be permitted entry. Patrons who have been admitted but subsequently fail to comply with the Conditions of Entry may be removed from Adelaide Oval without refund of any entry fee(s).

Code of Conduct 

The Port Adelaide Football Club (the Club) is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and exciting experience for all its members and supporters, and for members and supporters of other clubs, the AFL and SANFL and the community at large.

The Club is a family and community club and expects all Club Members and supporters to behave in a positive and respectful manner.

The Club works with the Australian Football League (AFL), Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority (AOSMA), South Australian National Football League (SANFL), contracted security services and other external agencies, government and community organisations and bodies when identifying offenders, recording incidents and sanctioning any potential action taken against offenders who threaten to disrupt, disrespect or otherwise act against this code and other policies.

The Club reserves the right to revoke memberships, seasonal corporate hospitality packages or casual hospitality tickets should an offence or situation warranting a ban arise or be committed. The Club reserves the right to apply penalties without compensation at its discretion.

This policy is applicable also in circumstances where a patron may loan their membership card or seasonal corporate hospitality passes to others. If the guest using the card or pass breaches the code, the member will still be subject to suspension or sanction.

This Code applies to Club Members and Hospitality Clients at games sanctioned by the AFL or its affiliated leagues, Official Club or League functions and other football and non-football situations or events involving or endorsed by the AFL and its Clubs, including the use of digital communications and platforms owned, operated or endorsed by the Club, the AFL or its affiliated leagues.

Port Adelaide Football Club Members, supporters and guests have a right to expect an environment where:

  • Players, officials and staff will respect club, opposition and neutral members, supporters and guests.
  • They will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all stadium and Club personnel.
  • The game day experience will be free from disruptive behaviour, including foul, abusive or obscene language and/or gestures and free from all forms of discrimination, including on the basis of gender, race, religion, sexual preference, orientation or identity, special ability or disability, in accordance with the AFL Vilification and Discrimination policy.

In return, Port Adelaide Football Club Members, supporters and guests will:

  • Help foster a positive, enjoyable and respectful environment free from all forms of discrimination on the basis of gender, race, religion, sexual preference, orientation or identity, special ability or disability, in accordance with the AFL Vilification and Discrimination policy.
  • Consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible and safe manner in areas prescribed by the Club or by venue or stadium management.
  • Not engage in fighting, throwing objects or projectiles or attempting to enter the playing arena.
  • Not provoking or deliberately inciting others and interacting with other Members, supporters and guests in a respectful manner, free from abuse.
  • Not displaying obscene and/or indecent messages on banners, signs, clothing or other observable materials.
  • Comply with requests from Stadium staff regarding Stadium operations and emergency response procedures at all AFL and SANFL venues.
  • Members and supporters will respect and appreciate every player, official and staff member of the Club.
  • Sit in their allocated ticketed seats and show their tickets and entitlements when requested, at all AFL and SANFL venues.
  • Use social media and digital platforms associated with the Club and its players and staff, the AFL and opposition clubs, players and staff in a respectful and appropriate manner. Abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate posts, comments or messages directed at the Club, players, officials, staff, Members, supporters or other users will not be tolerated. Breaches of this expectation may result in the removal of content, suspension of access to platforms, and/or further disciplinary action, including possible suspension or cancellation of membership.

The Port Adelaide Football Club, its Members, supporters and guests will work together to uphold this Code of Conduct.
